Asterios Reynik wins Doodle 4 Google Greece contest! PDF Print E-mail

The Doodle 4 Google contest was open to all students in Greece between the ages of 6–18 years, with four age categories. The contest encourages children to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign the Google homepage logo for a day.

Congratulations to Asterios Reynik, a primary school student from the Northern Greece town of Litochoro, in Pieria.

"I painted my doodle with a big sun, the sea and the Greek flag because for me that is Greece," wrote Reynik when submitting his entry.

Refnik's doodle was one of 60 – 15 from each category – selected from thousands by a team of judges. The top entries were then presented to the public, who were invited to vote for their favourite online from April 15 to May 7.
