John Stamos extortionists lose appeal PDF Print E-mail

John Stamos can now relax. Michigan duo Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were convicted of trying to blackmail the TV hunk actor and lost an appeal of their 4 year prison sentence and will serve out the remainder of their term.

After hearing testimony from Stamos himself, a jury found 25-year-old Coss and 32-year-old Sippola guilty in July 2010 of trying to extort $680,000 from the actor by threatening to make public some supposedly compromising photos of the TV hunk partying with strippers and cocaine at a 2004 party. It turns out, the two never had any such photos, per the feds, and following the highly publicized trial they were handed four years in a federal pen.

Moreover, the three-judge panel also refused to reduce their time in jail after the pair claimed they deserved a more lenient sentence because they accepted responsibility for their actions.
