It's been almost 20 years since the Greek government has permitted a movie to be filmed at the Acropolis (inside one of the seven wonders of the world...the Parthenon) and a dream come true for director Hossein Amini whom has vacationed in Greece since childhood. The director and crew had the Parthenon all to themselves (with 300 patient tourists watching out of view) for the few hours of shooting. The movie starring the talented Viggo Mortensen, Oscar Isaac and Kirsten Dunst looks very promising and has received good reviews from critics. We could only find these release dates throughout several film festivals worldwide (see here). The movie is an adaptation of a novel by Patricia Highsmith, who also wrote The Talented Mr. Ripley.
